The most beautiful moments often wait just around the corner. On streets we often pass without a second thought, in the quiet that suddenly appears in the middle of the day, in the light that falls unexpectedly across a façade. Only when we pause do we uncover the layers that give everyday life its depth and color.

In this issue, we searched beneath those layers. On the streets of Belgrade, in the calm of Dorćol and under the shadow of Kalemegdan, we found traces of past centuries and the voices of those who keep the city alive.

In Marseille, we followed the rhythm of the market and the narrow passages of Le Panier, while in Andermatt, among Alpine rooftops and the crisp scent of winter, we discovered the quiet that belongs only to the mountains.

The theme unfolds through art and design as well. Iris van Herpen shows how fashion can become movement, light, and sound, while the Porsche 963 RSP proves that a car can hold memory and future at once. In the stories of artists such as Willi Dorner, Janih Ch. Lüthi, Beatrice Sartori, Valentina Murabito, Mirko Reisser, and Haochen He, we see how space, thought, and emotion intertwine,
how fluid boundaries can become, and how much opens up when we look from a different angle.

In the world of gastronomy, three-Michelin-star chef Sven Wassmer shows how flavor can become a story and a memory, while the book Elaste 1980 to 1986 brings back the spirit of a time when art, music, and design spoke the same language of freedom. The series Robin Hood offers a fresh vision of courage, love, and justice, reminding us that true values always find their way back into stories, onto screens, and into life itself.

There are also small joys: forgotten European desserts, vinyl records, and cassettes that still carry the scent of a more attentive time, silence as a luxury that feels ever more precious. The glow of holidays and the warmth of interiors remind us that art lives in the details of everyday life.

This issue is our way of opening doors that may have been left aside, of stepping into spaces and stories that often go unnoticed. Because just around the corner, there is always something worth seeing, feeling, and sharing.
