A familiar silhouette, reimagined in Honeygold

A. Lange & Söhne timepieces often appear understated, yet each one carries a distinct and carefully defined character. There is no improvisation, no excess. Every detail serves a purpose, and every design decision begins from within.

The model introduced in 2025 as part of the Odysseus collection is crafted from Honeygold, an exclusive alloy known for its uniquely warm hue and exceptional hardness. Used only in limited editions, Honeygold requires a dedicated finishing process. The surfaces are meticulously brushed and polished, and both the bracelet and case are made from the same material. The dimensions remain unchanged: a diameter of 40.5 millimeters, a height of 11.1 millimeters, and water resistance up to 120 meters.
The dial comes in a deep brown tone. The outsize date display sits on the right, the day of the week on the left, and the small seconds subdial at six o’clock. The hands and hour markers are made of gold and treated with a luminous coating. At twelve o’clock, a red numeral 60 adds a striking accent. The layout is clear, with no unnecessary additions.
The L155.1 movement offers a power reserve of 50 hours and is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. Its bridges are made of German silver and finished entirely by hand. Decorative elements include Glashütte stripes, chamfered edges, thermally blued screws, and an engraved balance bridge.
Within the Odysseus collection, this model does not alter the function but redefines the tone. The color, material, and craftsmanship shift its presence without changing its identity. That is precisely what makes it unmistakable.
