Terms and Conditions for the Annual Subscription to Artistic Hub Magazine

Artistic Hub is an international lifestyle magazine published quarterly, with four issues per year, available in both digital and print formats. The magazine holds a valid ISSN for each format, confirming its official status as a periodical publication. The Artistic Hub Magazine trademark is registered and protected in Switzerland; the publisher is Bistry GmbH (a limited liability company).
This document outlines the terms of the magazine’s annual subscription. The conditions are clearly and precisely formulated, in accordance with Swiss law and European standards for digital services.

Subscription Options
Subscribers can choose from three annual subscription models, depending on their preferred format:

1.       Digital Subscription
Grants access to all four digital issues of the magazine published within the subscription year. Each issue is made available online via our reading platform or as a downloadable PDF for personal use. Subscribers are informed in advance about how to access the digital content, ensuring full clarity about what each subscription model includes. The digital version contains the same editorial content as the printed edition.

2.       Print Subscription
Includes delivery of four printed issues per year to the subscriber’s specified address. Shipping is available worldwide via standard postal service or courier. Standard delivery costs are included in the subscription price, unless additional charges are clearly indicated at the time of purchase (e.g., for express shipping or remote destinations). This model is ideal for readers who prefer a physical edition; each copy is produced to high standards and dispatched according to the quarterly publication schedule.

3.       Combined Subscription (Digital + Print)
Combined Subscription (Digital + Print) – A premium model that merges both formats – subscribers receive full digital editions (online/PDF) as well as printed copies of each issue. The annual combined subscription offers a complete reading experience: instant access to the digital edition upon each new release, including all previous digital issues, along with delivery of a printed copy to the subscriber’s address. This plan is ideal for readers who value the flexibility of digital access on the go while also enjoying the collectible nature of a printed magazine. The prices for the combined subscription (Premium Package) are listed separately and include standard shipping costs for the print editions.

* Note:
The prices for all subscription models are clearly stated on the magazine’s official website at the time of purchase. If subscription rates change for a future period, subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance. All active subscriptions will continue under the originally agreed price until the end of their term.

Delivery Terms
Depending on the chosen subscription model, delivery of Artistic Hub Magazine is carried out as follows:

Digital Editions
Subscribers receive access to the digital editions of the magazine online. Each time a new issue is released, they are notified by email and provided with a direct link. The issue can be read via our interactive web-based platform or downloaded as a PDF file for offline reading. Subscribers are informed in advance whether the content will be accessible via a personal login on our platform or as a downloadable file. All digital issues are optimized for viewing on various devices such as computers, tablets or smartphones, and are technically protected to prevent unauthorized distribution.
Note: Digital content is available exclusively to registered subscribers. Each access is linked to a personal user account and must not be shared or distributed.

Print Editions
Printed issues are delivered to the address provided at the time of subscription. Shipping is international. Artistic Hub Magazine dispatches all editions from Switzerland to subscribers worldwide via reliable postal or courier services. Standard international shipping fees are included in the annual subscription price, so subscribers do not incur additional postal charges for regular delivery, unless specific exceptions are clearly noted in the offer, such as express shipping or remote locations. Each issue is mailed shortly after printing. Due to international logistics, delivery times may vary. Typically, delivery takes a few working days within Europe and several weeks for overseas destinations.
Subscribers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. In the event of an address change during the subscription term, the publisher must be notified in due time to ensure smooth delivery of future issues.

Note: If delivery of the printed edition incurs unforeseen additional charges (e.g. customs duties or special fees in the recipient country), these costs are to be borne by the subscriber.

Duration, Renewal, and Cancellation
Each subscription is valid for one year from the date of activation, which includes contract confirmation and successful payment. The annual subscription includes four consecutive issues of the magazine, published quarterly, starting with the next scheduled edition following the date of purchase, unless otherwise agreed. The subscription may also begin with the current issue if it has just been released.

At the end of the initial term, the subscription renews automatically for another year unless cancelled in time. Automatic renewal means the subscription is considered continued, and the payment for the new term is processed using the same method as the original payment. For example, if the subscription was paid by credit card, the same card may be charged again for the renewal, following prior notification about the upcoming billing period.

Cancellation of Subscription
Subscribers have the right to cancel the automatic renewal of their subscription for the following year. Cancellation can be submitted at any time during the current subscription period, either by email to the publisher or via the personal user account, following the instructions provided on our website. To be valid and prevent automatic renewal, the cancellation must be submitted no later than one month before the current subscription term ends.

If cancellation is submitted on time, access to the already paid content will remain active until the subscription expires.

Important: No refunds will be issued for payments already made during the active subscription period. Once the annual subscription has been activated and payment completed, there is no right of return for the current term. Cancellation applies solely to the upcoming subscription year. This policy is in line with regulations governing digital content and immediately accessible services.

The publisher reserves the right to consider individual solutions in exceptional cases (e.g. if a technical error on our part prevents delivery of paid content).
However, as a general rule: “No refund after payment.”

Subscribers will be informed in advance of their subscription’s upcoming expiration and automatic renewal. At least 30 days before the renewal date, we send a reminder with full details regarding the new term and its associated costs. This gives subscribers ample time to make an informed decision about whether to continue or cancel.

If no cancellation is received by the deadline, the subscription will automatically renew, and the charge will be processed using the same payment method as the original subscription. For instance, if payment was made by credit card, the same card may be charged again, following prior notice.

If the renewal payment fails (e.g. due to an expired card or insufficient funds), the subscription will not be automatically renewed. In that case, subscribers will be invited to update their payment information if they wish to continue.

Single-Issue Purchases
In addition to annual subscriptions, Artistic Hub Magazine also offers the option to purchase individual issues. This is available to users who do not wish to commit to a subscription or who are interested in acquiring a specific edition.

Availability
Individual issues (print or digital) are available while supplies last in the case of print editions, or without limit in the case of digital editions. Typically, the current and previous issues of the current calendar year can be purchased individually. Older archive editions may still be available digitally, but sold-out print editions cannot be reordered.

Pricing
The price per issue, whether print or digital, is clearly stated on the website and in the official price list. The publisher reserves the right to adjust prices periodically. However, each order is billed according to the price displayed at the time of purchase. For print editions, the price includes printing costs, while shipping fees are listed separately (see delivery terms below).

Delivery Format
When purchasing a digital issue, buyers receive immediate access after payment. This may be through direct PDF download or online access. In both formats, the content is identical to the print edition. A confirmation email with the access link or instructions will be sent after purchase.

For print issues, the copy will be shipped to the address provided. For international orders, shipping is handled via international postal services. Shipping costs may be included in the total price or charged separately. This will be clearly indicated during the checkout process. Delivery time varies by destination. The issue is shipped within a few business days of the order, while the actual delivery duration depends on local postal services.

Complaints and Returns
The purchase of a single issue is considered a one-time transaction and does not imply any recurring order. Once a digital issue has been made available, the service is considered rendered.

In the event that a print issue is lost during shipping or arrives damaged, customers may contact the publisher for a solution, such as a replacement copy or, if unavailable, a refund. Claims of this nature must be submitted within a reasonable time after the expected delivery date.
Please note: Due to the nature of digital content, returns are not possible once the file has been downloaded. For physical print issues purchased remotely, no automatic right of withdrawal applies after delivery, since magazines are classified as periodicals, except in cases of proven defects.

Data Protection (GDPR and Swiss Data Protection Law)
Protecting the privacy of our subscribers and customers is of the highest priority. Artistic Hub GmbH is committed to full compliance with applicable data protection laws in Switzerland and the European Union, namely the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, 2023 revision) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The revised Swiss law is largely harmonized with the GDPR and ensures a high level of protection for all personal data collected and processed. As a Swiss-based company offering services to EU customers, we also comply with GDPR provisions where applicable.

Collected Data
When registering for a subscription or purchasing a single issue, we collect only the data required to fulfill the specific contract. This typically includes: first and last name, delivery address (for print editions), email address, telephone number (if necessary for delivery), and payment details (e.g. transaction data).

Artistic Hub GmbH collects only essential personal data that is necessary to provide the service. We do not request sensitive data that is not relevant to fulfilling the agreement. Credit card information is never stored on our servers. Payment processing is handled exclusively by certified and secure payment providers. We retain only payment confirmations and relevant transaction references, such as the last four digits of the card or the issuing bank, in compliance with common security standards.

Purpose of Data Collection and Processing
All personal data is processed solely for defined and lawful purposes. The primary purpose is to execute the subscription agreement, including payment processing, subscription management, delivery of print and digital issues, and communication with subscribers (e.g. notifications about new issues, renewal reminders, or relevant updates to the terms).

In the case of single-issue purchases, data is used to process the order and, if the user wishes, to provide information about other available issues. Email addresses may also be used, with the subscriber’s explicit consent (opt-in), for sending our newsletter or occasional updates.

Marketing emails can be unsubscribed from at any time, independently of subscription management.

Personal data will never be used for purposes that are incompatible with the original reason for its collection, unless explicitly approved or required by law. In line with the principle of data minimization, we only process the information that is strictly necessary for the requested service.

Data Retention
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, primarily to manage and deliver the subscription, and never beyond what is legally permitted.

In practice, this means that data is retained for the duration of the active subscription. After the subscription expires, data may be kept for a limited period to comply with legal retention obligations (e.g. for accounting or tax audits) or to protect legitimate legal interests (e.g. in the event of disputes within applicable limitation periods).

Once the purpose has been fulfilled or the legal retention period has expired, the data is deleted or anonymized. In the case of ongoing subscription renewals, data will be retained for the entire duration of the business relationship.

Data collected with consent for marketing purposes (e.g. newsletter subscriptions) will be stored until consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer relevant.

Upon deletion, we ensure that all our internal systems, as well as any external processors involved, are promptly informed and instructed to erase the data accordingly.

Rights of Data Subjects
In accordance with the GDPR and the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP), all individuals whose data is processed have extensive rights. Artistic Hub GmbH is committed to upholding these rights and will act upon request to implement them.

These rights include:

  • Right of access – Individuals may request information about what data is stored, for what purpose, and who has access to it.

  • Right to rectification – Inaccurate or outdated data can be corrected upon request (e.g. after moving or changing an email address).

  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) – Data can be deleted if it is no longer needed for its original purpose, if consent is withdrawn, or if the data was processed unlawfully.

  • Right to restrict processing and object – Under certain conditions, individuals can object to data processing or request that it be restricted.

  • Right to data portability – Individuals may request their data in a structured, commonly used format for transfer to another service provider.

These rights are granted free of charge. Requests can be submitted via email to our data protection contact (see below). The publisher will respond within the legally mandated timeframe (generally within 30 days).

Complaints regarding data protection can be submitted to the relevant supervisory authority, either the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or the appropriate national data protection authority within the EU.

Data Security
Artistic Hub by BISTRY GmbH employs modern technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. Our systems are secured through encryption and controlled access protocols. All payment data is processed via SSL-encrypted connections and handled exclusively by certified payment providers.

Internal access to personal data is strictly regulated and limited to authorized staff members who require it to perform their duties. All employees and external service providers are bound by confidentiality agreements. Our security systems are regularly reviewed and updated to meet the latest standards.

In the unlikely event of a data breach involving potential risks to affected users, we will promptly notify both the users concerned and the appropriate regulatory authorities, in accordance with applicable legal obligations. All necessary measures to contain and minimize any potential harm will be taken immediately.

Our full privacy policy is available on our website. By accepting these subscription terms, you confirm that you have read and understood our data protection policy and consent to the data processing described therein.
