Artist Beatrice Sartori
Beatrice Sartori’s solo exhibition, Fragments of a Dream, offers a unique and profound exploration of the delicate interplay between reality and imagination. Each of her works is a fragment of a larger poetic narrative, meticulously crafted from layers of paper and infused with vibrant colors and abstract forms. Her art carries a quiet yet powerful message—one of harmony, introspection, and an enduring connection to nature.
Through her masterful collages, Beatrice creates visual worlds that invite the viewer to pause and reflect, to find tranquility in the interplay of forms, and to reconnect with the beauty of simplicity. The motifs in her work—stars, flowers, birds—are not merely decorative; they resonate with a deep emotional symbolism, embodying joy, freedom, and the fragile yet profound bond between humanity and the natural world.
Fragments of a Dream is more than an exhibition; it is an immersive experience that bridges the realms of art and thought. Beatrice invites us into her dreamlike universes, where precision meets intuition, and where every fragment speaks of a deeper truth. This exhibition is a testament to the power of art to inspire, to heal, and to remind us of the beauty that lies in both the seen and the unseen.

ARTIST STATEMENT
My inspiration comes spontaneously from the elements that surround me. These elements can be the shape of a scrap of paper, are flection on a material, a shadow in foliage...
I create my works by cutting out, with scissors, every detail of a painting. When all the pieces are cut out, I carefully assemble and glue them. Some areas can contain up to 8 overlapping elements. For pieces that are too small to handle with fingers, I use tweezers.
My tools are simple: a pencil, scissors, tweezers, glue, and paper of a variety of textures and a rich range of colors. I like exploring new graphics; I compose the shapes then carefully select the colors.
My works are characterized by a personal and unusual production technique.
My style is precise, graphic, modern and colorful.
I address themes that are close to my heart such as joy, respect, peaceful relationships. My interest in the environment is also reflected in my creations, emphasizing the importance of nature and our relationship with it.
